Compliments? No Thank You

Here's an interesting perspective on accepting compliments or I guess, lack thereof. I enjoy this blogger's voice, she (he?) makes me chuckle a certain points.

Or here blogger Rachel Wilkerson provides her own mini lesson as to how to accept compliments. The things she mentions that we shouldn't do are definitely natural tendencies, because as I was reading this I realize that i personally impulsively want to say these things. I can see why one shouldn't though.
