Pigeon Keepers of NYC....

Well these are some amazing pigeon keeper photos from one of my favorite photographers: Chris Arnade. I had no idea people actually kept pigeons...

I don't know, call me judgmental, but these people who looks so tough and callous, I see them taking care of these soft feathered beauties and it just touches me. Here is someone that ignorant people like me might imagine gets in fights often, holding these warm creatures, feeding them, loving them, and watching them take flight. There's just something awe-inspiring about these pictures and the stories it tells.
