New Silicone Rubber?

So some physics professor at UVA is developing a silicone rubber. Basically the material is both "rigid and fluid", being able to conform to the shape of something while supporting it at the same time. It's potential uses are fixing wobbly tables, becoming shoe insoles, handle material (ooo it can conform to your hand), packaging tape, sporting goods, etc. It's pretty cool actually.
